Mothering Sunday: - Friday 12th, 2.00pm, could you spare an hour or two to help to put together small bunches of flowers for distribution on Mothering Sunday? Please meet in the Darwin Room. Many hands make light work. Many thanks, Celia Newton (262340).
New Songs Workshop: - Saturday 13th, 10.00am - Wade Street Church Lichfield Room.
TGI Saturday: - Saturday 13th from 6.30pm at Chasetown Methodist Church, Lawnswood Avenue. Celebration Evening. speaker: Jonathan Burd, Your Money or your Life. Tea, and coffee available.
Comedy Night II: - Saturday 13th, 7.30pm at Riverside Church Hall, High Street, Burton on Trent DE14 1LD. CAP Money Course: - Tuesday 16th, 7.30pm - The course explores the basic principles of managing money with a Christian perspective. The course will run for three consecutive Tuesdays in the Lichfield Room. Anyone interested or wanting to find out more should contact one of the organisers - Rick Hill, Anne Hill, Christian Jones and Iain Kirkpatrick.
KYB Ladies Day: - Saturday 20th, 9.30am - God's Message for us Today, speaker: Helen Cooke at Wade Street. Cost £5.00.
Lichfield Mysteries: - Thursday 1st April, - a performance of the Crucifixion and Burial plays from the Lichfield Mysteries in the church, after the Passover meal. If you would like to be involved, please come along to rehearsals on Friday evenings at 7.00pm in the Hall.
Good Friday Walk of Witness: - Friday 2nd April, - 'Churches Together' in Lichfield have requested that each church carry their own Church Banner on this walk this year. Wade Street Church intend to carry two banners, the Church one and the one that asks for prayer for the city. We therefore require volunteers to carry these, at least two per banner. Can you help? Speak to Terry Bath.
Good Friday Evening Meditation: - Revs Christine Polhill, Debra Dyson and Denise Youngs will lead the 'Churches Together' Good Friday Evening Meditation in the Cathedral. We hope that the St Michael's Girls Choir will be able to sing and are looking for extra singers, male and female, and musicians - particularly cello, violin, oboe or flute. If you are able to help, please contact Ted Green on 262342 or ctgreen@ntlworld.com.
