| Barbecue & Evening Worship: - Sunday 20th July, all are invited to a barbecue at the home of John Higginbotham, 26 Brownsfield Road, from 3.00pm onwards. The evening service will take place in his garden at 6.30pm. Tickets £3.00, for lifts please contact the church office. There will be no service at Wade Street that evening. |
| St Chad's Walking Group: - invite you to join with them on Saturday 26th July. We will meet at St Chad's church car-park and depart at 10.00am to travel to Stanton & The Weaver Hills which is just off the Ashbourne/Leek Road. The walk is approximately 6 miles long. Please bring your own refreshments and suitable foot-ware. Transport will be provided. Further details from Terry Bath (306501). |
| Soul Survivor: - A group of 20 are going to Soul Survivor in Stafford from Friday 25 - Wednesday 30th July. We still need one more car to bring some of the MOB back from Stafford at approx. 9.00am on 30th July. We also need one more tent suitable for four people plus luggage ideally. If you can help with either of these can you let Jill know as soon as possible |
| Another Strawberry Tea! - following the success of the recent Strawberry Tea & Songs Of Praise, we are holding another - on Sunday 10th August at 4.30pm in the Lichfield Room. All are welcome! |

| Keswick in Lichfield 2008: - In preparation for the Keswick in Lichfield weekend, 3rd - 5th October, there will be a short prayer meeting every Tuesday from July 15th to September 30th, inclusive in Darwin. Please pray with us for another successful event this year. Details from Eunice (300268). |
| Take a Break: - will be closed for the Summer holidays - We will start again on the first Friday in September but will operate only on the first and third Fridays of the month. Anyone wishing to help or to run other Fridays should contact Andrew on (250151). |
| Lichfield Mysteries 2009: - next year, July 4th & 5th [note change of date], the Lichfield Mystery Plays will be taking place. If you would be interested in getting involved - in acting, speaking or non-speaking parts, directing, making costumes and props, providing music, etc - please speak to Ian Hayter as soon as possible. |
Church Night: - All are welcome for all or part of the time. Tuesdays 7.00pm - prayer, No Bible study during July |
